Darrin Rose was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best New Comic in 2007. He is a nationally touring comic with Yuk Yuks in Canada and tours across England. In 2004, Darrin was nominated for the Tim Sims Encouragement Fund Award as one of the top five young new comics in Toronto. In 2003, he was a finalist in Toronto's Funniest Person With a Day Job.

He has appeared on the Comedy Network's Cream of Comedy, MTV Live, CBC, XM Satellite Radio, CityTV, Global Television, MuchMoreMusic's Listed, and MuchMusic's LOL! stand-up comedy special.

He is a regular on MuchMusic's hit show Video On Trial.

As a writer, he was a finalist in the Comedy Network's Make With the Funny writing competition. And he has worked as a punch up comic and script writer on the Family Channel/Disney teen sitcom The Latest Buzz.
